Hello, my name is Jess Harris, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. My passion for psychology grew from my own healing after traumatic events, which inspired me to help others experience the same hope and healing.
With a strong foundation in child development and family dynamics, my professional journey began as a nanny, where I developed a deep understanding of children's needs and challenges. I have worked with children and families experiencing a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and more.
My internship at Hope’s Door New Beginning Center has allowed me to focus on helping children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, using techniques like play and activity therapy. I’m trained in Adlerian Therapy to provide the most effective care. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges with warmth and empathy.
